My first opinion of the text was exciting because it seemed every thing was happening at once and because it was very enjoyable to see that in the 2nd chapter it all went well and seemed to work out.

It’s a enjoyable book to read because when Micheal goes on his journey it turns out to be an adventure.

  • 18    lauren // May 17, 2006 at 6:13 am

I have read part of ‘Why the Whales Came’ and ‘Toro Toro’, they compare to each other because they all have a family problem.

  • 19    ca, tab // May 17, 2006 at 6:14 am

I like the idea of a sailing round the world because of the exiting things you could see, and visiting other countries.

  • 20    James // May 17, 2006 at 6:14 am

I have also read The Sleeping sword and I do not like it as much because this book is to complicated and confusing.

  • 21    Ben // May 17, 2006 at 6:15 am

  • 22    katie and hannah // May 17, 2006 at 6:15 am

  • 26    ca, tab // May 17, 2006 at 6:19 am

Ben and Jade I agree when you said it makes you want to read on, and see what happened when they where out at sea.

  • 27    Corran Callum H // May 17, 2006 at 6:19 am

The genre of this story is adventure. My first impression was, that the book was going to be a family story which was revolved around normal family life, however the story was a exciting story revolved around the Peggy Sue and its adventures with the family.Yes. I have read many of the brilliant author Michael Morpurgo such as Private Peaceful-a truly moving story and Friend or Foe- a beautifuul story.I think all Michael Morpurgo books are brilliant they are all about family life,i think books like his are a pkeasure to read. The main character is very confident with his parents decisions,he is very loving.

  • 28    Aaron,Alex // May 17, 2006 at 6:20 am

It was a boring story, because it just tells you about a family that sell their car ,buy a boat named Peggy Sue and and go on a adventure around the world. This is also boring, because it happens so sudden.

  • 29    kieran // May 17, 2006 at 6:20 am

I have read Twist of gold wich is a very good adventure book

  • 30    Jade // May 17, 2006 at 6:20 am

it’s a adventure that is really good Because it is entertaning.

  • 32    Lily // May 17, 2006 at 6:20 am

I think that the Genre was a Adventure. But I do not agree with Laura and Lauren because I think that the chapters were a bit boring because they gave you alot of information and you could not gather it all in.

  • 33    Daniel // May 17, 2006 at 6:21 am

The bit of the book that we have read wasn’t very good because it was to confusing.

  • 34    rebekah and michelle // May 17, 2006 at 6:21 am

it was a little boring because it was not intressting

  • 35    lauren,laura // May 17, 2006 at 6:21 am

Hannah everything happened at once so how can it be boring.

  • 36    rebecca // May 17, 2006 at 6:21 am

I think it was really good but didnt understand because there was to many names .But it was an adventure and the genre is fantastic. There way it is set out.

  • 37    katie and hannah // May 17, 2006 at 6:21 am

  • 41    mel ,cal // May 17, 2006 at 6:23 am
